Dom Dolla & Kid Cudi – Forever

Dom Dolla and Kid Cudi have collaborated on “Forever,” a lively dance track that combines house rhythms with poignant emotional elements.

Cudi’s single premiered at Dom’s sold-out doubleheader event held at Madison Square Garden, marking his first live performance after Coachella in 2024. “Forever” was performed along with Cudi’s popular tracks “Day ‘N’ Nite” and “Pursuit of Happiness” to an audience of 30,000 who were highly energized.

Cudi commented in a behind-the-scenes video from EastWest Studios in Los Angeles that the song’s nostalgic essence reminded him of 2010. Dom, who grew up as a fan of Cudi’s music, referred to the collaboration as a dream come true. When they met earlier in the year, Cudi informed him that he was prepared to transition away from creating melancholic music.

This conversation inspired a creative task: to compose the happiest song possible, which would provide listeners with a feeling of respite from the turmoil of the present day.

The track coincides with a peak period in Dom Dolla’s career. He has secured spots at several prominent music festivals, including Hard Summer, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Creamfields, Kappa Futur, and Dour, and will be the main performer at London’s Alexandra Palace and Manchester’s Depot Mayfield.

He is also set to start a new residency at HÏ Ibiza this year. Dom is one of Australia’s most influential electronic acts, boasting over a billion streams, a Grammy nomination, and three ARIA Awards.
