DJ Target – Bring You Flowers ft Tiwa Savage & Chip

UK DJ Target has released his debut solo single “Bring You Flowers,” featuring Tiwa Savage and Chip.

The track reimagines Sweet Female Attitude’s UK garage classic “Flowers,” offering a nostalgic experience while incorporating a modern touch. It blends traditional London dance elements with Afrobeats influences and serves as an introduction to his upcoming solo album, set for release in 2027. Target expressed his desire to return to production and music release after several years, and this single represents that commitment.

Target’s background in the music industry adds significance to this release. He has contributed to British music through his work with Pay As U Go Cartel and Roll Deep, and has also been a prominent voice on BBC Radio 1Xtra. Reworking a garage classic represents a return to his roots rather than following a trend.

The sound is warm and inviting. Keyboards create a bright atmosphere, guitar plucks introduce a gentle quality, and light shakers enhance the rhythm. A solid kick drum supports a flowing bassline, allowing the groove to maintain a balance without overwhelming the vocals. Tiwa Savage offers her smooth vocals and a catchy chorus focused on love, while Chip delivers sharp verses and clever lyrics. The themes explored include love, loyalty, and friendship.

An official music video was released alongside the single, and initial trends indicate it is gaining popularity quickly. Fans of both UK garage and Afrobeats may find common ground in this track.

Consider sharing “Bring You Flowers” with someone special and reflect on which garage classic you believe Target should reinterpret next.
