DJ Jaivane & Ndibo Ndibs, Sgidongo & Philharmonic – Malunde

In just a few weeks, DJ Jaivane will release his next studio album, Mended Pieces. Before the album becomes available, he has shared another pre-release titled “Malunde,” a collaboration with Ndibo Ndibs, Springle, and Philharmonic.

When well-established artists begin to engage with a new sub-genre of Amapiano, it indicates that the sound has achieved a level of recognition and is being accepted in the mainstream music scene. With Djy Jaivane collaborating with Ndibo Ndibs, a pioneer of Sgidongo, it suggests that the genre has been acknowledged and is likely to continue evolving.

“Malunde” features the contributions of DJ Jaivane and Ndibo Ndibs, along with vocals from Springle and Philharmonic. This collaboration blends elements of Sgidongo and Private School Piano, resulting in a unique track.

The song “Malunde” serves as a fitting preview of DJ Jaivane’s forthcoming album, Mended Pieces. It showcases skillful sound design and emotive vocals, making it an engaging listen.
