Davido Has Announced His First Music Festival In The UK

Nigerian Afrobeats artist Davido is advancing his international career by announcing his first music festival in the United Kingdom.

The Davido & Friends Festival will take place at London’s Crystal Palace Bowl on August 14 and will be the artist’s only outdoor performance in the city this summer. The festival promises a full cultural experience and hints at surprise appearances, showcasing the celebration of Afrobeats music.

This announcement coincides with Davido’s upcoming debut at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in 2026, where he is set to perform on April 11 and April 18 in Indio, becoming the only Nigerian artist on the lineup.

This news follows his successful 5ive World Tour, during which he performed across North America and returned home for a nationwide tour in Nigeria.

The homecoming tour began in Akwa Ibom on October 26 and featured performances in cultural hubs such as Adamawa, Enugu, Ibadan, and Abuja, concluding with a grand finale in Lagos on Christmas Day.

Fans enjoyed a mix of songs from his 5ive era, including tracks like “Funds,” “Awuke,” “10 Kilo,” “Offa Me,” and “With You,” as well as classic hits such as “Dami Duro,” “FIA,” and “If,” making each stop a celebration of his artistry and Nigeria’s music scene.

With the Davido & Friends Festival, it appears that the artist is poised to offer UK fans a glimpse of that same vibrant energy, marking an important moment for Afrobeats on the global stage.
