Clipse Performs “So Be It” On “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”

Clipse is having a truly phenomenal year. Following the release of their first album in nearly 16 years, after becoming the first rappers to perform at the Vatican and achieving several notable accomplishments, Pusha T and Malice maintained their winning streak on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on the evening of Monday, October 13.

The brothers took the stage to perform “So Be It,” one of the numerous guaranteed hit singles from Let Got Sort Em Out. Following Jimmy Kimmel’s introduction, Clipse emerged onto a nearly empty stage, illuminated by a few red strobe lights and flashing visuals. Everyone needs to stand up from their seats, and let’s harness this energy immediately. “What’s up?” their DJ bellowed before Pusha T launched into his verse.

When I was born, grandmama could see it / I would be driven in a Bentley and very strategic / The cover of my debut album would have a picture of a Rolls-Royce, no diamonds are needed / The floors of my mansion would be heated, so be it, so be it. View the complete performance that follows.

Clipse’s latest TV appearance featured an interesting, yet undoubtedly welcome choice, ‘So Be It’.” They previously performed “The Birds Don’t Sing” on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” and “Ace Trumpets” at the 2025 ESPY Awards.

Pusha T targeted Travis Scott in his final verse on the Pharrell-produced track, referencing Kylie Jenner and the confrontation between the Houston rapper and Alexander “AE” Edwards. He called it “corny” that Scott had shown up to preview UTOPIA with Pharrell in Paris, but interestingly omitted Drake’s verse from “MELTDOWN.”

In addition to their upcoming European dates on the “Let God Sort Em Out Tour,” Clipse have the 2026 Grammy nominations to anticipate in November. The duo submitted “So Be It” for Best Music Video, “Chains & Whips” featuring Kendrick Lamar for Best Rap Performance, and “The Birds Don’t Sing” in multiple categories.
