Social media appears to have been convinced that Chris Brown reacted to Kevin McCall’s plea for financial assistance. On the night of Tuesday, October 21, a Grammy Award-winning singer posted on social media that he was unable to cross a “burnt bridge,” which was especially noteworthy given that his former collaborator on the song “Deuces” had recently disclosed that he was relying on EBT just one day prior.

“Brown reminded his followers: you can’t cross a bridge that has been completely destroyed,” Brown wrote via his Instagram Stories. What’s even more amusing than a troll. A broken one. The post was released following McCall’s appearance on the “Back On Figg” podcast on Monday, October 20, where he emotionally inquired, “Why do I have an EBT card and this individual is touring on the ‘Breezy Bowl XX Stadium World Tour’ and earning $90-whatever-the-fuck million?”

“He asked if he could get $25,000 for the four songs he owed, but continued, ‘I’m not getting anything.’ He also stated, ‘You all want to see me cry so you can think I’m weak.'”

McCall’s emotional interview may have garnered him some sympathy, but the internet soon uncovered his past remarks about Brown, many of which were made relatively recently. The artist behind “Risk It All” recently accused Bryson Tiller of being gay after gifting a Lamborghini to the Virginia native following the end of the “Breezy Bowl XX Stadium World Tour”.

You told Bryson Tiller, I said, little brother, those very light-skinned guys have the best women. McCall allegedly wrote on Instagram, “He got you hooked now, too?” Despite not receiving direct assistance from Brown, it appears he may still receive help from another source. Following the clip of McCall crying going viral, Young Thug offered McCall $25,000.

The “Digits” rapper wrote on X, “Hit me, my nigga.” I’ll provide the $25,000 you require, and I’m sure Brown would do the same, brother. He’s a genuine person, and sometimes others are preoccupied. Interestingly, a response to the post featured a video clip of Brown taking swings at McCall a few years back.

McCall and Brown also collaborated on songs such as “Strip,” “2012,” and “No BS,” to name just a few.
