Ceega – Meropa 234 (The Closer You Get To Your Soul)

The weekend begins with the release of a new mixtape from Ceega titled “Meropa 234,” which he has named “The Closer You Get To Your Soul.”

Mixes involve more than just a combination of sounds. Many people misunderstand this aspect. Several elements and factors influence the quality of music, one of which is the transition of sounds and how they shift from one emotive track to another, conveying the emotions of the listeners.

In the South African music scene, only a select few DJs provide such high-quality mixes, and Ceega is one of them. While he may not have the same level of recognition as legends like Black Coffee and Kabza De Small, he has dedicated decades to honing his curatorial skills. The impact of his mixes on a wide audience underscores his creative energy and purpose.

“Meropa 234” is his latest work, running for over two hours, featuring excellent timing and transitions.
