Despite the beginning of a new year, it appears that Cam’ron and Jim Jones are unlikely to resolve their ongoing feud in the near future. The former Dipset associates are once again exchanging posts on social media.

This latest exchange began when Cam’ron shared a message that broadly mocked those experiencing difficulties. On his Instagram, he posted text that read, “How [you] worried about me when [your] heat off and rent due,” along with a caption stating, “[Heard] it was 7 degrees in [the] Bronx last night.”

While Cam did not specify any individuals, it was clear the comments were directed at Jones, particularly after Jones recently found himself involved in a dispute with 50 Cent. The Queens rapper labeled Jones, along with Fabolous, Dave East, and Maino, as “squatters” in the studio they utilize for their podcast. Additionally, about a year ago, Cam mentioned that Jones is allegedly from the Bronx rather than Harlem.

This speculation was confirmed when Jim Jones commented on Cam’s post, saying, “[You] soft,” followed by, “[Your] whole crew is soft.” He then added, “[You] wanna play pull up? Let [the] people see how soft [you] are, chump.”

In response, Cam shot back, “Jomo, you [are] 50 and still wanna pull up. I got the video of you breaking in [your] own studio trynna [trigger] the heat system. And chasing [your] landlord around in his car ’cause he want his rent. YOU ARE 50!! Go ‘pull up’ on that heat bill.”

After Jones urged him to do his show, Cam responded, “What’s wrong, Capo? [Your] heat off too? I ain’t know. [I’d] hate for you to be 50 [years] old with no heat. What’s [your] Zelle bro? I got [you].”

Jones replied, “A block [know you] soft.”

Cam then countered, “Yea, but my heat on. And I’m warm. You 50 years old, tough and cold. But deada** tho, Capo, [your] heat off for real??”

Things took a slightly more lighthearted turn when Jones posted a video of himself in a space where he claims to be constructing a “multipurpose content creation facility for media, fashion, music and broadcast,” captioned with “Thank you for [the] free promo.”

Cam responded by creating an Instagram Reel of a fire being built in a barrel, captioned: “I’m just trynna help.”

Given their history, it is unlikely that the exchanges between these former friends will come to an end anytime soon. There is hope that their interactions remain respectful and primarily take place online.
