Recently, there has been an increasing number of advocates for Chris Brown to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show. On February 2, Boosie Badazz shared his thoughts on social media.

He tweeted, “Do we need to campaign for Chris Brown to perform at a Super Bowl? Over the years, many different artists have performed, but no CB? Not cool at all, better yet #DISRESPECTFUL. You are great in our eyes, my G.”

Reactions to Boosie’s post have been mixed. Some users agreed that Brown is capable of delivering a remarkable performance, especially following last year’s “Breezy Bowl XX Stadium World Tour.” One comment noted, “Literally the best performer out right now and for the past decade.”

Conversely, some users referenced Brown’s history of domestic violence with Rihanna, while others argued that the decision ultimately rests with JAY-Z. One reply stated, “You got to be on [JAY-Z’s] good side.” Another user suggested, “Why don’t we just chill and see him doing his own tour?”

Boosie’s remarks are similar to comments made by Ne-Yo during a recent episode of “BagFuel.” He stated that Brown would excel in a Super Bowl halftime show if given the chance, adding, “It’s really wild to me that people are still holding on to things like that. It’s like, does redemption just not exist? Like, are you just forever guilty once you do something?”

Additionally, Brown’s manager, Anthony “Ant” Wilson, talked about the possibility of a halftime performance during an interview with Billboard last year. He mentioned, “I also think the Super Bowl would be a great place for him. I believe it will happen.” When asked if there had been any discussions about this opportunity, Wilson replied, “We’ll just see.”
