Memphis rapper Big30 and Lontrell Williams Sr., the father of Pooh Shiesty, have entered not guilty pleas in a kidnapping and robbery case linked to Gucci Mane and other individuals.

Documents reviewed indicate that Big30, whose real name is Rodney Wright Jr., and Williams Sr. made their pleas on April 30 in the District Court for the Northern District of Texas. Both individuals are currently incarcerated due to the revocation of their bonds.

Big30 and Williams Sr. are part of a group of nine men, including rapper Pooh Shiesty, facing charges of robbery and kidnapping related to an incident on January 10 at a Dallas music studio, where several people, including Gucci Mane, were reportedly robbed of their belongings. During a hearing on April 8, the FBI disclosed that Gucci Mane provided a statement to law enforcement concerning the alleged events.

Additionally, one of Pooh Shiesty’s attorneys withdrew from the case last week. On April 28, Bradford Cohen announced his decision to step down from representing Pooh Shiesty.

Cohen shared in an Instagram video that Dallas-based attorneys Dan Cogdell and Kent Schaffer will take over the case. He expressed confidence that there are significant weaknesses in the prosecution’s argument and believes the rapper has a strong chance of overcoming the charges. Pooh Shiesty has been denied bond and remains in custody.

Should all nine defendants be convicted, they may face sentences of life imprisonment.
