Asake Reveals New Mercedes-Maybach

Asake has added to his collection of luxury cars with the recent acquisition of a new Mercedes-Maybach, enhancing his fleet as he continues his “In God We Trust“ world tour.

The Afrobeats artist confirmed this latest purchase through posts on his Instagram page, while Lagos luxury car dealer Polanco Exotic Cars also announced the delivery on social media. Although the dealership referred to the buyer as “Mr X,” fans made the connection when Asake posted images of the vehicle.

Details regarding the specific Maybach model and its price were not disclosed by either the singer or the dealership. However, vehicles from the Mercedes-Benz Maybach lineup generally have price tags in the hundreds of thousands of dollars, which translates to substantial amounts in Nigerian naira based on custom features and specifications.

Polanco Exotic Cars, located in Lekki, has become a prominent choice for celebrity car purchases in Nigeria, serving various entertainers and sports figures acquiring high-end vehicles from the dealership over the years.

Asake’s recent purchase adds to his already impressive car collection, which reportedly includes a Maybach GLS 600, a Brabus G800, and multiple Mercedes-AMG G63 models, highlighting his success since entering the mainstream music industry.

This new addition comes during a significant phase in the artist’s career. Asake is engaged in his 13-date “In God We Trust” world tour, promoting his fourth studio album, M$ney, released in May. The tour commenced with a headline performance at Afro Nation in Portimão, Portugal, on July 4, followed by a leg in North America, starting on August 20 in Chicago, and concluding at the Accor Arena in Paris.

Both the album and the tour have contributed to enhancing Asake’s international visibility, further building on his track record of commercial success and sold-out performances, including a notable show at Madison Square Garden in New York in 2024.

Though no official explanation has been provided for the latest purchase, the new Maybach has attracted considerable attention online, with fans expressing admiration for the vehicle and speculating about its cost.
