Asake Achieves New Spotify Milestone With His Multiple Projects

Asake has achieved another notable streaming milestone in his growing career, establishing himself among the influential Afrobeats artists of the streaming era.

He is now one of only five Nigerian artists to have songs with over 100 million streams across three different projects on Spotify, underscoring both his consistency and broad international appeal.

This achievement positions him alongside Burna Boy, Davido, Tems, and Omah Lay, who are recognized as leading figures in Nigerian music in the current streaming landscape.

His success is supported by some of his most significant tracks to date. “Joha,” from his breakout project Mr. Money With The Vibe, has recently surpassed the 100 million-stream milestone, further enhancing the album’s digital presence.

Another prominent track, “Lonely At The Top” from Work of Art, remains a key Afrobeats record of the decade, notable for its commercial and cultural impact.

With several projects now featuring songs that achieved nine-figure streams, Asake’s catalog demonstrates significant longevity.

Each release seems to reinforce the notion that his ascent is not merely driven by viral success or fleeting hits, but rather by a sustained position within the upper echelon of Nigeria’s music scene on a global scale.
