Album: L.A.X – The Only Lover Boy Left (TOLBL)

Nigerian artist L.A.X is set to release his new album, The Only Lover Boy Left (TOLBL), on November 6. This project features 12 tracks. The guest appearances include Olamide on “Belinda,” TML Vibez on “MAGAA,” JaQi on “Owa,” and DOTTi The Deity on “IYAWO.” The latter track was released in late October as a preview of the album, allowing listeners to experience some of the sound prior to the complete album release. The record begins with “Morenike” and concludes with “FINE WINE,” including tracks such as “Saint Tropez,” “Arewa,” and “First Lady” in between.

The album’s structure is notable. L.A.X has opted for a concise selection of features, choosing specific artists for distinct moments and allowing them to enhance the songs. This method aligns with an artist who has developed a body of work on his own terms.
