Album: King Promise & Mr Eazi – See What We’ve Done

King Promise Mr Eazi See What Weve Done

Global African artists King Promise and Mr Eazi have officially released their joint project “See What We’ve Done” through emPawa Africa.

The nine-track album follows the momentum established by its three pre-release singles—“See What We’ve Done,” “Mariana,” and “That Way,” which have collectively exceeded 26 million streams across digital streaming platforms.

The tracks are currently charting in over 10 regions, including Europe and the Middle East, and have received support from platforms like BBC 1Xtra, Capital Xtra, and KISS Xtra.

Featuring polished production from notable producers such as GuiltyBeatz, Killbeatz, JAE5, Gideonite, AOD, and Tudor Monroë, the project integrates Afrobeats, pop, and melodic influences, resulting in a sound that is both grounded and widely appealing.

Mr Eazi shared his thoughts on the project:

“See What We’ve Done” is a tribute to friendship, growth, and gratitude. Having developed unique and successful careers, we came together out of a genuine appreciation for each other’s artistry. The outcome is a record that feels natural and unforced, marked by honesty and mutual respect.”

The release emphasizes the creative synergy between two artists who have significantly influenced the sound of contemporary African music while also broadening its global appeal.

“See What We’ve Done” provides a cohesive listening experience that delves into themes of friendship, growth, love, and introspection. It begins with the reflective “Where Have You Been?,” transitions into the standout “That Way,” which creatively reinterprets the Backstreet Boys’ “I Want It That Way” from a modern African perspective, and conveys warmth in “Mariana.”

The album continues with the atmospheric “Taste,” the compelling “Criminal,” the playful “Baby I’m Still Jealous” (referencing their earlier collaboration), the emotionally impactful track “No. 1 Fan,” the assertive Afrobeats-dancehall blend of “Mad Ting,” and concludes robustly with the title track, which offers a celebratory reflection on legacy and growth.
