Album: Key Glock – PROJECT X

Key Glock releases PROJECT X, his first full-length album since continuing the legacy of Paper Route Empire. Notably, longtime collaborator Tay Keith is featured on this project, and his recognizable producer tag appears early in the album. “Face Down” is a highlight track that showcases the chemistry between Keith and Glock, both hailing from Memphis. Keith’s influence is present throughout the project, with contributions from producers C.N.O.T.E., Oh Ross, King Wonka, and others.

Rather than filling the album with features, Key Glock emphasizes his trademark confidence and strong production in this focused 20-track effort. The album follows a period of anticipation and reflection for Glock, who has discussed his experiences with fame, patience, and the lessons learned from his late mentor, Young Dolph. While many artists pursue viral success, Glock has been steadily building a significant independent brand in rap. PROJECT X reinforces the foundations of his success, which include consistency, self-belief, and his distinct Memphis sound.
