Megacy turns down idea to remix AKA’s popular song

The famous South African rapper AKA might make a comeback on the music charts, since his team brought up the possibility of remixing one of his songs.

On a post from the rapper’s official X account, his team asked fans, called the Megacy, to recommend artists who could join in on a remix of Mbuzi.

The message said: “Megacy. . . Should we create a Mbuzi Remix? Tag the rappers you want to see on the song! ”

But the fans didn’t seem very excited about this idea.

A lot of fans told the team to drop the plan completely, arguing it would be disrespectful to change AKA’s music without his presence.

One fan commented: “No. . . show some respect to Supa Mega, this shouldn’t happen without him. Doesn’t he have some unfinished songs that can be completed by others? That would be better. ”

Others pointed out that instead of making a remix, it would be better to work on music videos and previously unseen clips of the rapper.

“No remix, just give us music videos for some songs from the album along with some unseen footage of Mega. . . I think that’s the kind of closure we deserve as the Megacy,” another follower stated.

Some fans even reached out to AKA’s dad, Tony Forbes, who many think manages the account, asking him to leave the page alone for a while.

One tweet said: “Let the account take a break, come on Tony. ”
