Airic – Hamba Kahle ft. Nolly M

A poignant narrative of farewell and remembrance unfolds in “Hamba Kahle,” a collaboration between South African producer Airic and vocalist Nolly M. Released on August 15, 2026, the track combines traditional South African musical elements with a modern electronic sound.

The title “Hamba Kahle,” meaning “Go well” in Zulu, establishes the emotional foundation for a song focused on parting and bittersweet goodbyes. The composition reflects the enduring feelings that arise when a significant person departs, rather than treating farewell as just an ending.

Airic constructs the instrumental framework using atmospheric synthesizers, layered melodies, and intricate rhythmic patterns. The mid-tempo production provides momentum while allowing the emotional content to resonate.

Nolly M leads with a soulful and expressive vocal delivery, infusing warmth and vulnerability into the narrative. Her performance adds a nostalgic quality that personalizes the experience of saying goodbye.

This collaboration marks the continuation of the creative partnership between Airic and Nolly M, who have previously collaborated on Afro-fusion and Maskandi-influenced projects, including “Ngimuhle” and selections from the Uthingo Lwenkosazana project.

With “Hamba Kahle,” Airic and Nolly M present an emotionally nuanced record that harmonizes traditional influences with modern production. It serves as a reflective backdrop for moments of farewell, remembrance, and letting go.
