Afro Nation Portugal 2026 Announces Complete Lineup

The 2026 edition of Afro Nation Portugal is set to be a significant celebration of African and global music, with the complete lineup of headliners and performers recently announced by the organizers.

Taking place from July 3–5, 2026, at Praia da Rocha beach in the Algarve, the festival will feature a variety of music genres, including Afrobeats, Amapiano, and African electronic music. Headliners include Nigerian artists Wizkid and Asake, while South African Grammy winner Tyla is set to make her headline debut. Burna Boy will also headline, adding to the strong lineup.

The LIT Stage will showcase a mix of African and international talents, featuring American rap artist Gunna as a special guest, alongside:

  • Nigeria: Olamide, Young Jonn, Darkoo
  • Congo: Soukous legend Awilo Longomba
  • International: R&B artists Mariah the Scientist and Kehlani (making her festival debut), French rapper Niska, and Brazilian singer Ludmilla

The festival will introduce the Afrotronic Stage, highlighting Africa’s evolving electronic music scene with genres such as Afro House, Afro Tech, Gqom, and 3-Step.

Additionally, the Piano People Stage will return, focusing on Amapiano music, with performances from Madumane (DJ Maphorisa), Uncle Waffles, and Focalistic.

The festival promises three days of diverse musical experiences, featuring a robust lineup of Afrobeats, Amapiano, and international acts. Tickets are now available for this prominent celebration of African music.
