A$AP Rocky Offers Student Free Four-Year Roc Nation Scholarship

A$AP Rocky has announced a four-year, full-tuition scholarship for an incoming student at the Roc Nation School of Music, Sports & Entertainment at Long Island University in Brooklyn. This opportunity is available to first-time freshmen planning to enroll in fall 2027.

Applications are currently open, with a deadline of December 15 for students to apply. The scholarship will cover tuition for four years while the recipient studies in a program that combines academics and hands-on experience in the entertainment industry.

Rocky expressed his belief in providing opportunities for young creatives to develop their ideas. He emphasized the importance of helping talented individuals with ambition turn their visions into reality.

In addition to Rocky, other notable figures such as DJ Khaled, Megan Thee Stallion, LaMelo Ball, and Young Guru have also established scholarships for students at the Roc Nation School.

The Roc Nation School began welcoming students in fall 2021 and offers programs in various fields, including music, entrepreneurship, sports business, management, and performance. The school also provides Roc Nation Hope Scholarships, which cover full tuition for four years for 25 percent of enrolled students, selected based on academic competitiveness and financial need.

Rocky’s philanthropic efforts extend beyond the scholarship. He previously partnered with Bilt to pay the rent for tenants in the Harlem apartment building where he lived as a teenager. This initiative was tied to the release of his album Don’t Be Dumb and featured a limited-edition vinyl inspired by Harlem and New York City.

Through these actions, Rocky demonstrates a commitment to giving back to the communities and places that have influenced his life.
