A film project is reportedly being developed by Druski, Kai Cenat, and Kevin Hart, with a possible start of production scheduled for the next several months. The comedian behind the “Coulda Been House” project announced on Friday, February 14 that a new film is in the works, likely a comedy or buddy movie involving the three individuals.

The entire concept was Hart’s initiative. Druski explained during “The Breakfast Club” that he told them, “Come on, guys, let’s focus on this,” and then provided a list of movies for them to watch and study. I think I watched a few of the movies, but Kai didn’t. He said, “Actually, you’re not that busy.”

After Druski’s comment about Hart’s approach, he quipped that it resembled “hard parenting” and then disclosed, “At present, we have multiple meetings scheduled, and we’ll be filming shortly.” I’m not sure of the specific month, but it will occur sometime this year. He mentioned that he had viewed a portion of the script. The initial stages take place in a writing room, primarily located in the early states, and all participants have a collective input in the content being created. For the time being, we’ll simply have to wait and observe how everything falls into place.

Kai Cenat and Druski have previously made appearances in movies

Hart has a substantial filmography, featuring titles like Ride Along and Night School, whereas Druski and Cenat are still relatively inexperienced in the industry. The winner of the Streamer of the Year Award made a short appearance in the 2023 film Good Burger 2, which, as one would anticipate, maintained a lighthearted tone.

In the same year, Druski also made an appearance in the House Party film, which starred Tosin Cole and Jacob Latimore. The actor also played a more significant role in Praise This, a film that boasted a diverse cast consisting of Chlöe Bailey and Quavo. There’s no question about whether Maryland native and Cenat can act, as it’s clear they absolutely can.

Druski and Hart have made multiple appearances on Cenat’s Twitch streams up to this point. At the AMP House, a gathering of the trio took place in June 2024, with subsequent appearances at two further guest spots during the internet personality’s “Mafiathon 2.”
