Davido Surprises Chioma With A Romantic Gesture In The 'Already Falling' Video

Afrobeats artist Davido has shared a romantic insight into his relationship with his wife, Chioma, in the newly released music video for “Already Falling,” which includes a significant proposal scene between the two.

Released on October 28, 2026, the video complements a track from Davido’s sixth studio album, ORIADÉ, featuring Chioma prominently in the love-oriented narrative.

Throughout the video, the couple shares various intimate moments. In one scene, they wear matching traditional-inspired outfits as Davido sings to Chioma, while another shows her driving a car during his performance.

A key moment occurs towards the end when Davido kneels beside a lake to present Chioma with a ring, simulating a marriage proposal even though they are already married.

Chioma’s participation follows a recurring theme in Davido’s music videos. She was featured in his 2018 hit “Assurance,” which was released while they were dating, and also appeared in “1 Milli,” which had a wedding-themed storyline in its 2020 visuals.

The couple officially married in a traditional ceremony in Lagos in June 2024 and held a white wedding celebration in Miami, Florida, in August of the same year.

With “Already Falling,” Davido continues to integrate aspects of his personal life into his music, providing fans with another romantic visual centered around his marriage to Chioma.
