Fireboy DML Explains The Limited Number Of Guest Artists On His New Album, ‘Zuko’

Fireboy DML, in a recent interview on X, discussed the limited number of features on his new album, Zuko. The Nigerian singer explained that he had initially intended for the album to include collaborations, but these plans did not materialize as expected.

He shared that he wanted the project to be collaborative, but when the intended partnerships did not come to fruition, he chose not to force any features. “It just didn’t work out, I swear to God. And I just felt like that’s how it’s meant to be for this particular project. I genuinely wanted it to be very collaborative, but it just didn’t work out. I don’t force vibes,” he remarked.

Fireboy clarified that the lack of guest appearances was not part of the original plan, but rather how the project naturally unfolded.
