Organizers Have Announced New Dates For The 2026 Headies Award

The organisers of the Headies Awards have announced new dates for the 18th edition, which is now set to take place on April 10–11, 2027, instead of the previously scheduled date of October 23, 2026.

This change means that fans, nominees, and stakeholders will need to wait several additional months for this significant music award event in Nigeria.

Although the timeline has been altered, interest in the ceremony is anticipated to remain high as attention shifts to the new dates and further details become available.

The Headies Awards are well-known for celebrating accomplishments in Nigerian and African music, honouring artists, producers, songwriters, and other professionals in the industry.

More information regarding the venue, schedule, and other arrangements for the rescheduled event will be provided by the organisers ahead of April 2027.
