FOLA Announces The Title And Release Date Of The Upcoming Album

FOLA has announced the title and release date of his new album on social media.

Singer and performer FOLA confirmed today, Thursday, September 10, 2026, that his upcoming album will be titled “9” and is set to release on October 9, 2026.

This announcement follows the release of his hit song “Treat U Right,” featuring Ayra Starr, as well as his collaboration with Davido and Mayorkun on “B4 B4.” Fans can now look forward to the singer’s latest project as he continues to establish himself in the Nigerian music scene.

FOLA has experienced a steady rise in recent years, positioning himself as a notable emerging voice in Afrobeats.

The forthcoming album will offer listeners a chance to explore the singer’s evolving sound, with interest anticipated around its tracklist, featured artists, and production credits as the release date approaches.

Fans will not have to wait until October 9 for new music, as FOLA also announced the release of a new song at midnight today.

The title “9” reflects its meaning in football, where it represents the jersey number of a striker, but FOLA reinterprets it as “the artist you call when you need a hit.”
