Peruzzi Reveals Why He Ghosted His Girlfriend Of Seven Years

Nigerian singer Peruzzi has discussed the significant changes in his life following his initial connection with prominent Afrobeats artist Davido. He shared that this encounter rapidly exposed him to a lifestyle characterized by luxury travel and numerous opportunities.

In a recent conversation with media figures Falz, VJ Adams, and Tope Olowoniyan, Peruzzi reflected on how overwhelming this experience was at the time.

He acknowledged that the sudden shift in his lifestyle had an impact on his personal relationships, noting that he briefly overlooked his girlfriend of seven years after his meeting with Davido, as his focus shifted to the swift advancements in his music career.

Peruzzi explained that after connecting with the Afrobeats star, everything changed almost immediately, leading to consecutive international trips and a new reality that felt difficult to comprehend.

“I didn’t text her or anything; I was with my friends enjoying life. First of all, I just met Davido, imagine that. You meet him today, and tomorrow you’re on a flight to Dubai. The next day you’re on a flight to Lebanon. I don’t understand, who am I calling? Why do you think, why, why, why? I’m experiencing something that’s never happened to me before!” he expressed.

His comments have generated discussions online regarding the rapid lifestyle changes that often accompany sudden fame in the Nigerian music industry, particularly for emerging artists who connect with established stars.
