Gunshots Heard At Rihanna’s Luxury Mansion In Los Angeles

Tranquility in one of Los Angeles’ exclusive neighborhoods was disrupted on Sunday when gunfire occurred at Rihanna’s Beverly Hills mansion.

The Los Angeles Police Department responded at 1:15 PM local time after receiving reports of shots fired. Officers located a suspect and took them into custody shortly thereafter.

A police official stated that the targeted home belonged to Rihanna, and casings from an assault rifle were found at the scene. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident. A source indicated that Rihanna was present in the mansion at the time of the shooting.

Initial reports from the LAPD describe a tense situation. A 30-year-old woman reportedly arrived at the Beverly Crest property in a white Tesla. Investigators noted that the suspect fired between 7 and 10 rounds from what appeared to be an AR-15-style rifle. At least one bullet hit an exterior wall, while additional rounds struck the mansion’s gate and a vehicle parked in the driveway.

It is unclear whether Rihanna’s partner, A$AP Rocky, or their three children—RZA, Riot, and 5-month-old Rocki—were at home during the shooting.

The suspect attempted to flee toward Coldwater Canyon Drive but was arrested shortly thereafter at the Sherman Oaks Galleria, approximately eight miles from the mansion. Officers recovered the weapon and confirmed that the vehicle matched eyewitness descriptions of a “dirty” white Tesla. The identity of the suspect has not been released, but she is currently in custody as the LAPD’s Robbery-Homicide Division leads the investigation.

Neighbors expressed surprise at the outbreak of violence in their usually quiet area, with one resident commenting that it sounded like a loud pop and noting it is not expected in the neighborhood.

As of the morning of March 9, authorities had not established a motive for the shooting. Rihanna reportedly emerged unharmed from a potentially dangerous situation.
