Simi’s Manager Denies The Rumors About Her Divorce From Adekunle Gold

The management of Nigerian artist Simi has denied the circulating claims regarding her marriage to fellow musician Adekunle Gold. Reports of an alleged divorce surfaced after a document appeared on social media, suggesting that the couple’s relationship had “irretrievably broken down.” The document cited emotional, financial, and professional control as reasons for the purported separation.

Simi’s manager, Vincent, has labeled these claims as false and misleading. In response to the document, he pointed out various inconsistencies that he believes indicate it is fabricated.

“It’s fake and fabricated. First, stage names are not tenable in any court of justice worldwide, as indicated in the document. Even the suit number on the document is backdated to 2024 (SUIT NO HCL/FC/2024/0178),”

he stated.

Vincent emphasized that the inclusion of stage names in what was meant to be a legal document raises significant concerns, as official court filings require legal names. He also pointed out the suspicious nature of the suit number, which appeared backdated, further questioning the credibility of the claims.

This clarification has prompted fans of the couple to express relief online, dismissing the rumor as a case of misinformation spreading through social media.
