Stars Gather At AFRIMA Awards 2025: Complete List Of Attendees

The 9th edition of the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) took place in Lagos on Sunday night, January 11, 2026, bringing together prominent figures in African music at the Eko Convention Centre for an evening of celebration, performances, and style.

In collaboration with the African Union Commission, the event highlighted the continent’s musical variety, featuring genres such as Afrobeats, Amapiano, Bongo Flava, and Soukous.

The night included energetic performances, moving tributes, and a red carpet where stars appeared in notable fashion from across the continent.

While Nigerian artists received significant attention, AFRIMA 2025 was a truly pan-African event, showcasing talent from countries like Rwanda, Senegal, Morocco, and South Africa.

“Tonight is not just about trophies; it’s about the unity of our culture and the strength of our voice on the global stage,” stated AFRIMA President Mike Dada during his opening remarks.

The ceremony combined legendary figures with the emerging “New Wave” of African music, highlighting the continent’s dynamic present and optimistic future.
