Halloween officially enters its seasonal period. On October 21, Chlöe paid homage to Beyoncé’s Foxxy Cleopatra character in Austin Powers in Goldmember, which was released in 2002, as the first of several costumes she would wear for the holiday.

The “Have Mercy” artist wore a gold catsuit, partially unzipped to show a matching bra, along with high heels and a large Afro that recalled Beyoncé’s appearance in the film. Chloe even referenced Queen Bey’s well-known phrase in the caption: “I’m Foxxy Cleopatra and I’m a whole lot of woman.”

In the comments section, one fan commented, “The queen of Halloween has done it again.” The future had better be ready for you. In the meantime, Chlöe’s “Nasty Girl Remix” collaborator, Tinashe, chimed in with a few fire emojis. View for yourself below.

According to an interview with Vulture, Erwin Kupitz, a wigmaker, stated that Mike Myers requested a hairstyle that incorporated “a combination of Tina Turner’s hair from the ’80s into an Afro” for Beyoncé. He described the process as “very, very tedious,” largely due to the fact that the Afro had to be created from scratch, requiring “about 150 working hours.”

In the previous year, Chlöe gave her followers not one, but two costumes to enjoy. Just a few days before Halloween, she transformed herself into Jessica Rabbit, the character from Who Framed Roger Rabbit, sporting red hair and a strapless sequined dress. The “Surprise” singer and Halle Bailey portrayed Velma and Daphne from Scooby-Doo.

Her younger sister also appeared on the timeline with several Halloween costumes from last year, featuring one that was a tribute to Halle Berry’s character Giacinta “Jinx” Johnson from the 2002 film Die Another Day.

Fortunately, fans won’t have to wait to see the sister duo musically reunite. The “Angel” artist announced on Monday, October 20, that Chlöe will appear on the track “so i can feel again” from her debut solo album, “love? or something like it”, which is due to be released this Friday, October 24.
