Halle Bailey Reveals When Her Anticipated Solo Album ‘Love? Or Something Like it’ Will Be Out

Halle Bailey is about to release her first solo album, and it’s only a few weeks away. On Wednesday, October 8, she shared that her first full album, titled love? or something like it, will be out on October 24.

The star from The Little Mermaid shared a magical teaser along with the announcement. In a dark setting, she starts her story by saying, “A long time ago, there was a girl who believed in love. She thought everyone was meant for someone. Heart to heart. ”

“She wished to discover the purest kind of love,” she went on, over soft music. Halle then asked, “Was that ever really possible? Here’s what unfolded. ” Watch the video below.

People on social media were excited about the news of love? or something like it. One user on X said, “Halle’s first album in just two weeks,” along with a GIF of Michael Jackson applauding. Another fan commented, “Now, Halle, that is a real album trailer. She provided a great production, a storyline, and amazing visuals. The singer of “Angel” described her upcoming album as a “tale about first love, heartbreak, and everything that follows. ” She mentioned, “This album is everything to me.” Although Halle hasn’t released the song list or confirmed any special guests yet, she has dropped some singles leading up to the album.

In February, she released a Valentine’s Day song called “Back and Forth,” which was followed by “Braveface” in June. It’s also likely that her sister Chloë might be featured, since she commented, “I love you” on Halle’s post.

Last month, Halle hinted that fans can look forward to new music from the sister duo. She told REVOLT, “You can expect it. I have more music coming, and I’ll be making an announcement. There’s something with my sister that I worked on.” Halle described the upcoming music as a mix of R&B, alternative, and a few pop sounds.
