21 Savage has addressed Fivio Foreign and others who perceive him as soft for advocating his “F**k the streets” movement.

On Friday morning, 21 Savage responded to comments made by Fivio on DJ Akademiks’ “Off The Record” podcast, where the Brooklyn rapper questioned Savage’s authenticity as a “street n**ga.” In a live Instagram session, the Grammy Award winner urged Fivio to “stop saying [his] motherf**kin’ name.”

“If you are 35 or older and have been trying to rap since you were around 15 or 16, don’t speak to me about the streets. You don’t know anything about the streets, you haven’t done anything in the streets,” Savage remarked. “You all keep talking about that ‘F**k the streets’ stuff.”

He further suggested he would confront his critics directly, accusing Fivio of seeking attention. “You all would still get your a** whooped, straight up. You’re just around looking for clout. You’re old and broke, talking about who is a street n**ga in another state.”

Fivio later responded via his Instagram Stories, stating, “I said what I said. No back and forth with a n**ga who said, ‘F the streets.’ That n**ga a b**ch. Eat a d**k, p**sy,” while tagging Savage in the post.

Savage’s “F**k the streets” perspective gained prominence during the rollout of his project WHAT HAPPENED TO THE STREETS? He had previously tweeted, “F**k the streets. We ain’t get s**t but trauma from that s**t,” while attempting to mediate Young Thug’s issues with Gunna. Artists like G Herbo and Meek Mill have shown public support for his views.

However, not all musicians have aligned with Savage’s stance, as some, including 6ix9ine and HoneyKomb Brazy, have expressed opposition to his message.
