Zlatan Engages Online Discussion Regarding His Relationship With Partner, Lamai

Nigerian rapper Zlatan Ibile has recently generated discussions online regarding his relationship with Davita Lamai.

The artist took to Snapchat to respond to a fan who casually referred to Davita, who resides in the UK, as his wife. Zlatan clarified that he is not married, stating that while they share a close relationship, Davita is the mother of his children but not his wife.

In response to a user named Olohitare, who asked,

“I hope your wife is doing fine, sir?”, Zlatan said, “She is the mother of my kids but she is not my wife yet. She is fine.”

Zlatan has two children with Davita Lamai, their first child being Shiloh, followed by Benaiah, who will celebrate his first birthday in November 2025.

He has openly shown his support for Davita, notably celebrating her academic achievements when she completed her Master’s degree at the University of Birmingham in July 2025. Reports mentioned that he marked this occasion with a new Mercedes-Benz, valued between ₦100 million and ₦200 million. Zlatan attended the graduation ceremony and expressed pride in his contribution to her education.

Davita’s graduation received significant attention, with some sources indicating she graduated with honors. Zlatan has also acknowledged her personal milestones, such as gifting her a Mercedes-Benz GLE valued at about ₦100 million for her 27th birthday in March 2024.

His recent clarification has sparked further discussions online, with many appreciating his straightforwardness and respectful approach to addressing personal life assumptions.
