Zinoleesky And Moliy Exchange Heated Jabs On Social Media Platform X

Zinoleesky Moliy

Nigerian street-pop artist Zinoleesky and Ghanaian-American singer Moliy sparked a frenzy on X (formerly Twitter) with a heated exchange that rapidly escalated into one of the most talked-about online disputes of the week.

On Wednesday, October 15, 2025, the drama began when Zinoleesky responded to a post tagging Moliy with a dismissive comment that read: “2 hits wonder… and I don’t even know the second song @moliymusic.” His comment rapidly gained widespread online attention, prompting a flood of reactions from admirers and fellow musicians.

Moliy was equally unreserved. She swiftly shot back with a sharp retort that many saw as a subtle jab at Zinoleesky’s influence, tweeting: “I’m very thankful not to be well-known by you, artists who know me aren’t local heroes.”

The replies section exploded as expected, with fans from both sides inundating the platform with memes, statistics, and hot opinions. The exchange escalated when Zinoleesky made another jab, referring to Moliy as a “Remix goddess” and then dropped a cryptic line that many fans interpreted as a reference to OnlyFans.

The dust having settled, the heated exchange has rekindled long-standing discussions about the rivalry between Nigerian and Ghanaian artists, and how social media keeps stoking the flames of continental music competition.

Beyond the drama surrounding them, both artists continue to enjoy strong musical standing. Moliy, who gained global recognition for her feature on Amaarae’s hit single Sad Girlz Luv Money, currently has around 14.6 million monthly listeners on Spotify. Zinoleesky, signed to Marlian Music, retains over 2.3 million monthly listeners, with popular tracks such as Kilofeshe and Personal.
