Zac Brown Band & Snoop Dogg – Let It Run

Zac Brown Band Snoop Dogg Let It Run

The Zac Brown Band have been prominent figures in the country music scene for more than a decade, with numerous chart-topping albums and several industry awards. The band is now preparing to release their first album in four years, which is called Love & Fear. Snoop Dogg has collaborated with them on their album’s latest single, “Let It Run.”

It’s no surprise that Snoop Dogg frequently appears in feature spots, given that he has hundreds of appearances on tracks created by artists ranging from Dr. Dre to individuals who are merely high school students. This is not even Snoop’s first feature on a country song this year, as he also appeared on the song “Gettin’ Gone” by ERNEST. However, this track is significantly more to his liking than that one was.

Brown and Snoop mention smoking marijuana on their song, with Brown advising people who smoke with him not to spit on the joint. “He says on the track, ‘If it’s burning kinda funny, we can roll another one’.” The song is a straightforward one with profanity that differs significantly from many contemporary country music styles.

Snoop Dogg follows Zac Brown with a marijuana-themed verse of his own. The beat changes once he joins the track, and for a brief moment, it sounds like something that wouldn’t have been out of place on a more recent Snoop album. He delivers his verse rapidly and remains on subject. “I don’t require your saliva on this tangerine sativa,” he says. He makes a hasty departure after delivering a brief verse. The song may not appeal to all listeners due to the polarising nature of country music. Both parties seemed to have enjoyed recording it, and it was fun enough.
