YoungBoy Never Broke Again Reveals Release Date For His Upcoming Album ‘Slime Cry’

In addition to already dropping three projects this year, YoungBoy Never Broke Again is taking on yet another one. The rapper announced on Thursday, October 16, that his next album, Slime Cry, will be released on November 28.

Alongside the announcement, NBA YoungBoy posted a photo of the album’s cover, featuring himself standing on a pillar from his “Make America Slime Again Tour,” along with a pre-save link. The Baton Rouge native has yet to disclose the duration or potential characteristics of his project, but he did inform Complex last month that he had already recorded 30 songs during his North American tour.

He has continued to maintain a high level of activity throughout the year, much like he has done previously. In March, he released a 20-track compilation of songs, named More Leaks, that had already appeared online in various forms. Following this in July was MASA, the project that his ongoing tour is named after. The album notably featured the TikTok-viral track “Shot Callin” alongside other songs like “Wine & Dine” and “Games Of War.”

A month after that, he returned with DESHAWN, which was hosted by DJ Khaled. So far, he’s been on an incredible streak, especially considering that just under a year ago he was still serving a jail sentence. NBA YoungBoy expressed gratitude to President Trump for issuing him a pardon, allowing him to continue personal and professional development as a man, father, and artist, following the May clemency decision. This moment holds a lot of significance.

He mentioned, “This opportunity now allows me to move into a future I have been striving for, and I am thoroughly ready to take the next step.”

The “Make America Slime Again Tour” is scheduled to conclude in November, a mere two weeks prior to NBA YoungBoy’s release of Slime Cry. In the meantime, fans can catch him at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Thursday night before he returns to State Farm Arena on the following Saturday, October 18.

The tour is set to visit additional cities such as Charlotte, Houston, Dallas and Las Vegas, among others, with K3, NoCap, Toosii and Offset joining NBA YoungBoy at select performances.
