Having Cardi B and Young Thug release new music on the same day may have been overly ambitious. In the morning of Wednesday (Sept. 17), the “Digits” rapper appeared to indicate that UY SCUTI will no longer be released on Friday (Sept. 19).

Thugger shared a video on his Instagram Stories showing Southside working on the project, with the accompanying caption being “Next Friday.” If it’s true, it’s somewhat disappointing, particularly given that he informed fans of the “Miss My Dogs” release just one week prior, last Friday (Sept. 12).

Young Thug previewed a track called “Dope” in the clip itself. The record was first hinted at by Taurus in May. “He rapped that everything about him was dope, everything about himself was exceptional, two Cs were on her underwear, and he was a wealthy man, which he couldn’t comprehend.” “I take many piss breaks, including one in the Atlantic and another in the Pacific.”

Here’s what we know about ‘UY SCUTI’ so far

It has been a long time in the making. This will be Young Thug’s first album since his release from prison in October 2024. Metro Boomin previously confirmed in January that he was working on the project, with contributions also anticipated from Wheezy and Southside, the latter of whom produced the track “Money On Money”.

Referring to “Money On Money,” the album was released in April. He and Future paid tribute to the visuals of Ye and JAY-Z’s “Otis”. The title UY SCUTI originates from one of the biggest stars known to exist in the universe.

I feel enormous. Thugger told GQ that he feels like he’s one of the biggest stars. Founding this culture and the new rap game in progress are a lot of work I’ve done. It feels like I’m completely out of this world.
