Nigerian artist Young Jonn has announced a new release date for his upcoming album, Blue Disco. The album, which was initially set to be released on November 21, will now be available on Friday, November 28, 2025.

The singer and producer, whose real name is John Saviours Udomboso, postponed the album just a day prior to its original launch date, citing increasing insecurity in the country as the reason for not holding a celebratory event. In his statement at that time, he expressed concern over the national situation, describing it as challenging, and called for peace, unity, and responsible leadership.

With the rescheduled date, interest in Blue Disco continues to be strong. The album cover features a blue-themed portrait of the artist and includes collaborations with notable Nigerian and international musicians. Confirmed collaborators are Rema, Olamide, Shenseea, Franglish, Focalistic, along with two tracks featuring Wizkid and Asake.

Blue Disco represents a significant development in Young Jonn’s transition from a successful producer to a recognized recording artist. Following a series of chart-topping singles, the upcoming album is anticipated to blend Afrobeats, Amapiano, and global pop influences, further establishing his presence in contemporary African music.
