Nigerian artist Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, famously known as Wizkid, recently criticized Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, who is Davido’s uncle, for his dancing in a viral video.
Wizkid expressed his displeasure through a series of posts on his official social media account on the platform X, formerly known as Twitter. In what many viewed as a veiled jab at Davido, Wizkid made several statements that were interpreted as indirect criticism of the fellow musician. While Davido chose not to respond, Wizkid escalated the situation by mocking Davido’s uncle, Governor Adeleke, for his public dancing, even sharing a video of the incident.
Wizkid wrote:
“When you see people wey dem papa and family train, you go know! You don’t see my uncle dancing online!”
This post sparked significant backlash on social media, with numerous users condemning Wizkid for his remarks about Davido’s uncle.
