Will Smith & OBanga – Pretty Girls

Will Smith OBanga Pretty Girls

Will Smith made a shocking but welcome return to hip-hop this year with his first album nearly 20 years after his initial release. The project in question is his March 28 release, Based on a True Story. Prior to its arrival, the Fresh Prince released five singles.

The songs included were “First Love,” “Beautiful Scars,” “Work Of Art,” “You Can Make It,” and “Tantrum.” His comeback album also boasted a stacked and modern feature list. Teyana Taylor, Big Sean, Joyner Lucas, Fridayy, Russ, and Jaden were the headliners.

Now that Will Smith has some creative momentum going, he’s ensuring it doesn’t go to waste. “Pretty Girls” takes centre stage here. The track has a bouncy club ready groove with infectious energy.

On the track, Will Smith hyped up the ladies, promising them all the lives of their dreams. He’s about to do some investing and will spend it on you and your best friend, as well as on you and your twin on a jet ski; he claims he can change your life if you let him.

The music video is quite humorous as Smith reveals to a therapist that he considers all women attractive regardless of their makeup. The single’s bridge echoes the same structure. “My tastes run to vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and lemon flavours / To be honest, I have a preference for women / That’s the honest truth about me.”

Smith is simply having a great time and there’s nothing wrong with that.
