Wallie the Sensei, Ty Dolla $ign, & Blxst – Dip

Wallie the Sensei Ty Dolla ign Blxst Dip

You can expect to hear the name of California rapper Wallie the Sensei more frequently in the future. Since teaming up with Kendrick Lamar, he has been causing quite a stir on his album GNX. He contributed to one of its deeper tracks, “dodger blue,” which also featured Siete7x and Roddy Ricch.

Placement led to Wallie securing a record deal with Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack imprint and joining the JACKBOYS. He secured spots on JACKBOYS 2, specifically on the track “CAN’T STOP” with Don Toliver and on the deluxe track “110 SOUTH” alongside Luxury Tax.

These accomplishments have led to “Dip,” his first single since September 2024. This time, Wallie the Sensei is the one accompanying stars. Californian musicians Ty Dolla $ign and Blxst are behind a strip club record that will soon become ingrained in your mind.

The sound is heavily influenced by a repetitive “dip” vocal sample that remains audible throughout. The bouncy and bassy beat from Dem Jointz, combined with this, contributes to its memorability.

The trio’s performances are not particularly impressive. The lyricism here is quite standard for a song of this type. Ultimately, it falls short but is still somewhat acceptable. Give it a try below anyway.
