Vince Staples often shares new insights about himself. On December 8, the rapper participated in an interview with Ziwe, during which he mentioned his enjoyment of the show “Sister Wives.”

When asked about his interest in reality television, Staples inaccurately referred to it as “Mormon Wives.” He explained his amusement by pointing out a specific character, the football-playing son, noting his apparent dissatisfaction with life. This prompted Ziwe to clarify that he meant “Sister Wives.”

Upon confirmation, Ziwe playfully accused him of being “racist,” since there is also a show titled “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” which focuses on young polygamists. Subsequently, she inquired about his favorite wife from the show.

In a humorous remark, Staples expressed that he was “more into the kids” because they seem to exhibit pain and shame. He commented negatively about Kody Brown, suggesting that he might “snap.” Ziwe agreed, mentioning that Brown is struggling to maintain control over his children, to which Staples quipped that Brown’s hair might be the real issue.

Staples humorously noted, “He’s losing his hair, and his wives are like, ‘Oh, you look wonderful.’ And then he’s like, ‘You’re f**king lying to me.’ It’s weird, and it’s not godly.” The interview can be viewed below.

Staples also stars in his own Netflix series, “The Vince Staples Show,” which premiered its second season in November. According to the official synopsis, the series follows Vince on a journey for inner peace following a tragic death, although he encounters reminders of his troubled past along the way.

Season 2 received positive reviews upon release, with viewers noting that the episodes felt brief, especially since there were only six episodes. Fortunately, Vanessa Bell Calloway and Naté Jones returned to their roles, and Zack Fox made a guest appearance.
