Ty Dolla $ign, Kodak Black, & YG – SMILE BODY PRETTY FACE

Ty Dolla ign Kodak Black YG SMILE BODY PRETTY FACE

Ty Dolla $ign, a singer, songwriter, rapper, producer, and record executive, has returned. The California-based jack of all trades is currently midway through a new solo album rollout, his first in five years. It’s for TYCOON, which will be the fourth installment.

Ty sings over a lively beat on “SMILE BODY PRETTY FACE,” the second track, about a woman who has captivated him, a reflection of his West Coast upbringing. But it’s not solely due to the features mentioned in the title.

Ty believes he has found the perfect partner, a woman who stands by him through thick and thin. I was penniless and slid into safety / You were there when nobody believed in me.

Providing him support on this track are Kodak Black and YG. The latter shares verse responsibilities, whereas the former handles chorus tasks. The other California native’s rap is more openly provocative and laugh-out-loud funny, which may be somewhat disconcerting to some.

Place your legs behind your head, just as I’m about to change the diaper / She knows that I don’t hit women / She said “Hit it from the back”, do you think I wouldn’t?

SBPF follows up on “ALL IN,” a more summery ready-to-wear jam. The songs are part of a collection of 15 tracks, with the remaining details yet to be disclosed. The item is expected to arrive on October 17 via the Atlantic. Spin the term “SBPF” for the time being below.
