Travis Scott is going to incorporate a college marching band into his unique performance at Coachella. He made the announcement on Wednesday, February 5, stating that the person who creates the most impressive horn arrangement for “4X4” will be given the opportunity to share the stage with him in April. In addition to that, the Houston rapper may even cover one semester’s worth of their tuition.
Scott said he is willing to bring anyone from a historically black college or university, or any college with a band, big or small, to attend Coachella and perform the horn arrangement from ‘4X4′. The ASTROWORLD artist also shared that he is “possibly figuring out a way to manage a semester ’cause college is difficult.”
Scott concluded that he wanted to see something. The “4X4” marked the beginning of Cactus Jack Records founder’s new musical period, making its live debut at the College Football Playoff National Championship’s halftime show in January. From the top of Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium, he performed a cover of the song, with a band on the field taking the lead on the horn section.

Before the song was made available for streaming, Scott launched a merchandise line with a themed design, with all profits going towards aiding Los Angeles’ first responders. After “4X4” was officially released, it debuted at No. The song topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart with 16.2 million streams and 167,000 additional sales of digital and physical copies.
This achievement represented Scott’s fifth instance of reaching the number one position. His last number before “4X4” was No. The chart included an entry for 2020’s “FRANCHISE” which featured Young Thug and M.I.A. The other hitmaker’s number one hit. The tracks included are “THE SCOTTS” with Kid Cudi, “HIGHEST IN THE ROOM” and “SICKO MODE”.
Besides the expected excitement for a sequel to UTOPIA, the Texas native will be headlining consecutive Saturdays at Coachella in April. “He announced on Instagram that La Flame and Cactus Jack are headlining a new Coachella performance.” A pioneering initiative. This will mark his first appearance on stage there since the year 2017.
