Toosii is working hard to make his football goals come true. On Sunday, September 14, the rapper shared that he got an offer to play for Sacramento State.

“Man, God is amazing,” Toosii posted on Instagram, thanking head coach Brennan Marion and recruiter C. J. Pollard. “This feels unreal. I can’t find the words right now. I’m just in shock. ” He also posted pictures of himself wearing the team’s green and white uniforms.

The college football season kicked off last month, and Sacramento State’s record is currently 1-2 after their victory over Mercyhurst on Saturday, September 13. Although Toosii hasn’t said if he will play this season, this offer from Division 1 is what he has been aiming for.

In August, the guy behind “Favorite Song” expressed his goal to be the “first artist with multiple platinum records to go back to school and play Division I football. ” While sharing videos of himself training at North Carolina State University, he told his fans, “Next year, I’ll be part of a team, remember that! ”

In 2024, Toosii released an album called JADED, which included the song “Champs Élysées” featuring Gunna, plus guest artists like Kehlani and Muni Long. The album, which was supposed to come out the year before, was filled with popular tracks like “Ok… Whatever” and “Party Girl Anthem. ”

“To all my fans, thank you for being patient and supporting me,” Toosii wrote in an update about the album on Instagram. “This year has been all about growing for me. I spent seven months getting my mental health back on track while dealing with being a dad and an artist. It was really tough. I appreciate your patience. The wait will be over soon. ”

After supporting his album on Rod Wave’s “Last Lap Tour,” Toosii released songs like “168 Hours” and “Even Then” earlier this year. It’s still unclear if he will keep putting out music while pursuing his football dreams, but we really hope he does.
