Drake celebrated his 39th birthday at none other than the World Series. On the night of Friday, October 24, the Toronto Blue Jays played their hosts to the Los Angeles Dodgers in the rapper’s hometown, with the artist behind the song “God’s Plan” in attendance.

What’s going on. Drake stated in a video shared by MLB on social media that seeing the Jays at the bottom of the Biggest 6ix was live from the World Series on his birthday. The entire city was out tonight. A big thank you to the Jays. We’re currently experiencing difficulties, but we’ve encountered this situation previously.

The Blue Jays might have seen him as their good luck charm, given that they ultimately defeated the Dodgers 11-4 in Game 1. View the post that follows.

At the game, Drake wore a Don Bosco Eagles letterman jacket along with his custom Crown Jewel chain. A diamond-encrusted piece of jewelry showcased a CN Tower pendant surrounded by various icons of Toronto’s sports scene, including the Raptors, the Maple Leafs, and the Blue Jays.

He initially showcased the Alex Moss-designed chain after the release of For All The Dogs in 2023. “A project I did with my brother for ending it in the sixth and releasing it on the 6th in the sixth,” Drake stated at the time.

The self-proclaimed 6 God commemorated his birthday by receiving 16 new RIAA certifications. Among the six songs and albums that have achieved diamond status were Take Care, “Passionfruit,” “Nice for What,” the Lil Wayne-assisted “The Motto,” “Headlines,” and “Nonstop.”

Drake’s father, Dennis Graham, posted a photo of them together on Instagram along with a heartfelt message. “Wishing a happy birthday to my little son.” He captioned the post, “What a time to celebrate with the ones you love.”

Next up, the “Hotline Bling” creator is gearing up to release his upcoming solo album, Iceman. He has so far built anticipation with singles such as “What Did I Miss?”, “Which One”, and “DOG HOUSE”.
