Call of Duty unveiled its Black Ops 7 trailer on Monday, September 22, featuring Travis Scott and Playboi Carti’s song “FE!N.” In addition to in-game footage, the rappers’ hit single “UTOPIA” accompanied the playable characters’ combat, wall-jumping, and other actions.

Scott raps over a stripped-down version of the instrumental, saying ‘I’ve been flying out of town for some peace of mind.’ I’ve been concentrating on what’s to come, not on the present moment. About halfway through the trailer, Carti’s verse is heard over operators using various equipment and score streaks.

The game is scheduled to launch on November 14, with the early access beta commencing on October 2. “One user commented that they never thought they would hear a cinematic take on ‘FE!N.'” One person recommended the developers include a Carti skin.

It’s too early to determine whether Scott or his ‘BACKR00MS’ collaborator will be included as playable characters in the multiplayer mode. The Call of Duty franchise has previously featured rappers such as 21 Savage, Nicki Minaj, and Snoop Dogg.

Scott has contributed his music and likeness to various video games, such as NBA 2K and particularly Fortnite. The astronomical event set a new record for concurrent players in free-to-play battle royale games at 12.3 million.

Scott believes people are naturally drawn to the experience he’s had while working with the game. Various options are available. You can choose from these various options. You are permitted to fire a shot. It’s a unique blend of elements, which is why I believe people manipulate it.

Musically, 2025 has been a relatively positive year for Scott, even without releasing a solo album. In July, he released JACKBOYS 2, a compilation project which included main artists from Cactus Jack Records such as Don Toliver, Sheck Wes and SoFaygo. Throughout the 17-track album, listeners were able to hear Scott counter Pusha T’s attacks on “CHAMPAIN & VACAY,” as well as his collaboration with GloRilla on the aptly named “SHYNE,” which sampled Shyne’s “Bad Boyz.”
