That Mexican OT – Accessories

That Mexican OT Accessories

The latest single by That Mexican OT, titled “Accessories,” is a scathing tribute to confidence, perseverance, and the harsh realities of self-creation. The Texas rapper collaborates with Peso Peso on a three-minute track that combines streetwise confidence with expressions of cultural pride, using designer items and firearms as symbols of power.

Peso Peso’s verse initially exudes both extravagance and threat, featuring tattoos, a drop-top Benz, Miami’s sweltering heat, and easy access to a pistol. His lines combine luxury and volatility, enveloping the track in a haze of lavish abandon. The chorus showcases OT’s distinctive style with the line: “My accessories are grills and a throw away,” a statement that blends fashion with the language of self-protection.

The lyrics oscillate between lighthearted suppleness and sharp menace. Peso Peso showcases “two brand new outfits” before shifting to a gritty atmosphere featuring gold presidential watches, elbows resting on the Chevy, and intense violent scenes.

Surreal elements, such as pouring liquor from a “Wockhardt water jug” while bowing to a lover’s handbag, obscure excess with risk. Beneath the initial excitement, OT momentarily slips into a moment of loss, contemplating his deceased mother, which adds a somber tone to the track rooted in enduring grief.

Ultimately, “Accessories” is more than just a street anthem—it’s a depiction of contrasts. Heritage surrounds itself with a sense of hustle, elegance clashes with aggression, and each piece of jewellery serves as a protective barrier.
