Tee Grizzley is paying homage to his hometown on “Back To Michigan” in the process of reflecting on his progress. TG hits a melodic pocket over another banging beat from frequent collaborator Helluva to change the tone.

On the single, the Detroit native raps about the luxurious things that he and his family can afford due to his hard work. The second verse also features some charming lines.

“Baby boy, I’ll be in financial difficulty if I relax, I work hard so you and your brother can live / He said, “Daddy, are you exhausted?” Are you feeling exhausted? You have absolutely no idea. The album showcases impressive development, encompassing significant growth on both a personal and intellectual level.

Tee Grizzley’s life has undergone significant changes since his marriage in the summer of 2023.

It will be intriguing to observe whether this will precipitate an album release for the prominent rapper. He had already released one in 2025 with Forever My Moment.

It was the third project in the series, succeeding Still My Moment (2018) and My Moment (2017).
