Tech N9ne – J6

Tech N9ne, renowned for his exceptional technical prowess which has often gone underappreciated, will be showcasing his impressive storytelling capabilities in the near future. The founder of Strange Music Inc., a Kansas City, Missouri native, is planning to release his album, 5816 FOREST, in June, possibly on the 13th of the month. At the time of writing, that’s what Genius is claiming. The title is a reference to the rapper’s childhood residence from which he fled at the age of 12 years old. According to the MC, it is around 17 when he indicates that his “quest to become Tech N9ne” has come to a close. He’s referring to this latest release as a 17-episode audio series covering his personal life. The veteran artist has released potentially two more singles so far. The songs comprise “The Birth,” scheduled for June 28, 2024, which is presumably the lead-off track, followed by “RDV.”

Tech N9ne released that track on March 21. The assumed total is now at three with the addition of the newly released entry, “J6’s,” which was released earlier today. The song begins with a verse in which he reminisces about delivering narcotics for a family member, a theme that is continued throughout the track. At the close of the first verse, Tech N9ne comes across a pair of Infrared Jordan 6’s, widely regarded as the most iconic colourway of this specific design. He refers to them as his “lucky J6’s” when a catchy chorus gets stuck in his head, then explains why he considers them so. He entered a rap competition when his finances were dwindling and lacked confidence, particularly given the turmoil in his life. He ultimately emerged victorious while wearing the Jordan 6’s. There’s no doubt that it’s an inspiring story, and we’re eagerly anticipating hearing more of his remarkable experiences.
