Tebogo G Mashego has launched a verbal attack on fellow musician DJ Karri, claiming that he exploits his hardships for his art.

The Biri Marung artist stated that Karri’s actions crossed a boundary when he brought cameras to the airport while facilitating his return home after being stranded in Nigeria.

Bringing cameras to the airport by DJ Karri was not the right thing to do. He was using a serious issue to sell his reality TV programmes, Mashego fumed.

Despite crediting Karri for his help, he emphasized that the filming was entirely unnecessary.

“He greatly assisted me in returning home, but you cannot accompany us with cameras; this matter was extremely serious.” “It’s alright, Chairman, we’ll discuss it in person.”

Mashego’s fiery comments are the latest in a series of outbursts aimed at DJ Maphorisa and Sony Music, who he has accused of withholding royalties from Biri Marung.
